Enjoyable base for 1 night in Sheffield, quiet and incredibly beautiful hotel. Tidy and updated room with a lot of space. Very central location, understanding stuff from a wheelchair. Positioned in the very quiet area....

Old-fashioned hotel.
Recently refurbished, generous-sized rooms with uncontrollable heating and Christmas music playing in the background plus a sofa bed, perfect setting. Smooth check-in, late check-out.

I had the most wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was perfect for me as it was within walking distance to the university where I needed to be for my graduation the next day. It made my life so much easier not having to worry about transportation. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure that all my needs were met. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities such as an iron, tea and coffee facilities, and a sitting area. I also loved how they provided fresh linen and towels daily, a small but much-appreciated detail.
I can't recommend this place enough.

Traveled for a family wedding and stayed alone at The Rutland. Felt secure and safe, especially when arriving home late at night. Staff at check-in were sufficient and provided detailed information about the room amenities. Enjoyed the peaceful location, with lovely scenery around. Clean towels, kettle, tea/coffee amenities, TV, fan, ironing board, and hairdryer provided. Didn't feel uneasy when ordering food in. Would happily return when visiting family again!
Would recommend this hotel.
